At the Fit Lab our members work hard to get results, our personal trainers are dedicated to maximising that effort and deliver quality sessions that motivate, guide and support people with all different fitness goals. They are consistently up to date with the latest in fitness training through regular professional development, to ensure the Fit Lab can provide a personal training service second to none in the Darling Downs.

When you join the Fit Lab you receive a complimentary first assessment to evaluate your individual needs, a training plan to ensure that you settle into the centre confidently and comfortably, and a personal training session to kick start your fitness. From there you can continue to engage a personal trainer’s expertise with different packages that will take you to the next level in your fitness through creative and effective personal tailored training.

Meet Our Trainers

Roshni

Roshni

Personal Trainer

Roshni is arguably our most experienced trainer, with over 12 years in the fitness industry. She is a level 1 Wellness Coach, has a Diploma in Life coaching and nothing gives Roshni more satisfaction then being able to help people achieve their fitness goals. Roshni believes that while diet and exercise are important you also need to work on your mental wellness as well – a ‘whole of life’ approach with her clients. She is also a competitive runner who has been able to help both amateur and competitive runners train and compete. Roshni completed her level 1 Strength and Conditioning qualification to improve the development of her running clients along with her weight loss and strength clients. You’ll see Rosh here every morning weekdays, with a big smile on her face and can always catch her in one of the many classes she teaches weekly.

Zac

Zac is the newest member of our team here at the Fit Lab and carries over four years’ experience helping numerous clients achieve their health and fitness goals. He is a big Rugby League and Cricket fan and along with traditional weight training utilises techniques developed from playing these sports to deliver results for his clients. Zac’s passion for sporting performance has seen him complete his level one strength and conditioning qualification, which will further his knowledge, benefiting his sporting clients. Zac is not limited to sports performance only but loves training clients with various goals and has seen some amazing results with his weight loss clients. Ultimately, Zac’s number one goal for his clients is to see them become the best version of themselves and live a happy and healthy lifestyle - and we couldn’t agree more!

Vanesa

Personal Trainer

Vanesa’s approach to training encompasses both elements of Yoga and traditional strength training. Her method improves body awareness making it easy to connect mind and muscle for enhanced strength and flexibility whilst incorporating proper body alignment. Vanesa’s clients also benefit from her use of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), ensuring her clients work hard and achieve maximum results. Vanesa started in the fitness industry teaching Core Power Yoga, Meditation and Restorative Yoga, then adding ‘strong by Zumba’ and Zumba to her repertoire. Recently she completed her Zuu training and level one Strength and Conditioning, always furthering her understanding and bringing this knowledge into her training sessions - we think she is one talented lady! So for the best mix of strength, conditioning and ‘yogaesque’ training, book in with Vanesa today.

Joey

Joey has experience training a wide variety of people and had great success in seeing his clients reach their long term fitness goals. Joey chooses functional fitness training methods along with traditional strength training, which is why you’re likely to catch him teaching one of our functional fitness classes. Like many of our trainers here at the Fit Lab, Joey has completed his level 1 Strength and Conditioning qualification to provide his clients with a more in-depth approach to strength training. Many of Joey’s clients have seen dramatic weight loss whilst training with him through his style of training. Helping members achieve their fitness goals is one of his values as an important part of personal training.

Harry

Harry has been a valued member of the PT team now for a couple of years. He uses various weight training techniques to achieve his client’s goals and has had great success helping them lose excess weight, build lean muscle and improve their functional strength. His clients love seeing him because Harry always keeps training innovative and fresh using varying intensity, rep ranges and tempo’s. Harry completed his level 1 strength and conditioning qualification to assist his clients further with their training. The only thing to hate about Harry is his leg day, but perhaps you’ll love it. Halee

On any given day you are likely to bump into Halee somewhere here in the gym, either on reception, in the crèche or teaching one of the many classes offered here. Halee has just added personal training to her medley of fitness related talents and is booking out fast. She is especially passionate about training those new to fitness or those needing a little extra help staying motivated early on in their training. Her style is influenced by her background in dance and she utilises skills from her years of training as a dancer by prioritising core work and stretching in her sessions. Halee also has a heart for our older clientele and currently teaches our Up and Active Seniors as she loves seeing them become stronger every week.
